At Bibora Vision AI, owned and operated by Fatamorgana Qaqa Ventures, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the data of our merchant clients and their customers. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our self-checkout kiosks and software services.
1. Information We Collect
To run our computer vision models and manage checkout subscriptions, we collect the following data:
- Food Tray Images: When a customer scans a plate at the kiosk, our camera captures images of the food items on the tray. These images are segmented and identified by our neural networks.
- Merchant Data: We collect merchant profiles, owner names, email addresses, and restaurant names to configure store accounts and subscriptions.
- Scan & Transaction Metrics: We collect scan frequencies, transaction amounts, and itemized dish selections to populate your merchant analytics dashboard.
Note on Personal Data: Our kiosk cameras are positioned overhead and focus strictly on the food tray. We do not capture or store customer facial images, biometrics, or personal identifiers during the checkout scan.
2. How We Use the Data
We use the collected information to:
- Determine pricing and execute accurate self-checkout transactions at the POS.
- Train and fine-tune our computer vision models to improve dish identification accuracy over time.
- Generate daily and monthly revenue analytics on your merchant dashboard.
3. Data Storage & Security
All transaction metrics, merchant profiles, and configuration values are securely stored using encrypted database clusters provided by Supabase. Access is strictly governed by secure Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure only authorized merchants can view their own data.
